The MS Viking Aegir at our slipway. Some necessary repair work will be carried out.

Today the ceremonial act of christening the police boat "Lentia" was held. After the speeches of the guests of honour and the new owner - the Regional Police Directorate of Upper Austria - as well as after a few words of our Managing Director, the ceremony was performed by godmother Christina Pilsl, who traditionally smashed a bottle of champagne on the bow of the ship.

The second of three police rescue boats named "Limes" was handed over to the Water Police of Lower Austria on 17 December 2021. The last one will follow in January 2022 for Vienna.

A few months ago, ÖSWAG was awarded the contract for the construction of the new double pontoon at Melker Hafenspitz. With the start of the season in April 2022, the new floating landing stage will be open for Danube vessels and, in addition to the new landside transport connection, is another building block to alleviate and calm the traffic situation at this landing point.

The floating boathouse of the water police Regensburg will serve the boat "WSP 11 Regensburg" - also built by us - as a garage for protection against external influences.

The emergency boat "Podersdorf" is the second boat in a row for the water police on Lake Neusiedl. With its location in Podersdorf, it enables the surveillance of the eastern and northern lake area. The boat corresponds to the state of the art, this also applies to the shipbuilding, mechanical and electronic equipment and fittings. This ensures safe operation in the police's area of operation, even in the event of weather-related difficulties.

The first of three police patrol boats named "Lentia" was handed over to the Water Police of Upper Austria in September 2021. One each for Lower Austria and Vienna will follow soon.

One project of the Austrian Armed Forces is the general refurbishment of the M-boats 80/small. By the end of 2023, all 14 boats will be dismantled, restored and reassembled at our site.

The police patrol boat "Rust" was handed over to the water police in Rust on Lake Neusiedl. The shallow-water capable emergency boat made of aluminium with jet propulsion and air-conditioned wheelhouse is used for surveillance of the western and southern lake area. The boat was equipped with a towing hook and a bow hatch for salvaging objects and persons in distress at sea.

On 5th of November 2020, the police boat was officially commissioned by the Water Police.
